Felipe Witchger
2021–2024 Fellow: Francesco CollaborativeFelipe Witchger co-founded the Francesco Collaborative to build the strategic capacity of the cooperative and employee ownership movements. Inspired by Pope Francis’ call to young economists and entrepreneurs around the “Economy of Francesco,” Felipe supports investors in taking bolder action grounded in Catholic social teaching.
Felipe also founded the Community Purchasing Alliance Cooperative that helps dozens of religious and educational institutions shift more than $13 million in facility contracts to local Black, Latino & women-owned businesses. Felipe developed expertise in energy markets as a researcher and consultant at IHS Markit. Felipe holds a bachelor’s degree in Energy Studies and Economics from the University of Notre Dame and is a graduate of Seth Godin’s altMBA.
