“IRON” Mike Steadman is a published author and serial entrepreneur based in Newark, NJ, with a passion for improving the economic and social outcomes of urban youth and military veterans through boxing, entrepreneurship, and new media.

As the Founder and CEO of IRONBOUND Boxing, a non-profit organization, Mike leads initiatives that provide free amateur boxing training, entrepreneur education, and employment opportunities for the youth and young adults of Newark. With his partner, Keith Colon, he oversees the renowned IRONBOUND Boxing Academy, a legendary free boxing gym catering to the youth of Newark, NJ. Additionally, Mike operates IRONBOUND Media, a podcast production company specializing in branded podcasts for veteran-owned businesses.

Mike’s impressive background includes being a three-time National Collegiate Boxing Champion from the United States Naval Academy. He also served as a Marine Corps Infantry Officer, with deployments to Afghanistan, Japan, and the Philippines. Through his efforts in growing IRONBOUND Boxing and IRONBOUND Media, Mike has established himself as a high-profile veteran advocate and the new face of veteran entrepreneurship.
